Cedric Ropartz, Eng.

General Manager

Cédric is a distinguished mechanical engineer with extensive expertise in commissioning building equipment. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées in France and has been practicing since 2007. As a member of both the OIQ and AEE, Cédric is certified as a CBCP, CMVP, and EMIT, and is an accredited building commissioning agent.

His previous role as an Energy Performance Analyst at Johnson Controls honed his skills in steam, cold water, hot water, and heat recovery on hydronic loops, as well as in monitoring ESCO project performance and managing associated risks. Since January 2015, Cédric has served as EnerZam’s General Manager, where his profound understanding of building systems mechanics allows him to critically analyze and execute his mandates with precision.

Cédric has successfully led numerous commissioning projects across various sectors, including healthcare, education, institutional, government, and private industries. His dedication, expertise, and leadership make him a highly qualified mechanical engineer, committed to driving excellence.

Shani Pierre-Ruddock, Eng.

Director of Operations

After graduating from McGill university in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Shani embarked on her career as a maintenance system implementation specialist with the UCtriX group, leveraging her mechanical engineering background. Currently, as the Director of the Technology Division, she oversees the development and delivery teams, ensuring seamless project coordination and timely execution in collaboration with EnerZam’s clients.

Shani excels in managing budgetary objectives, both for clients and EnerZam, and is responsible for the overall direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects. Her role ensures alignment with EnerZam’s internal strategies, commitments, and objectives. Her leadership skills and meticulous application of EnerZam's proprietary methodology drive the development of cutting-edge solutions that consistently exceed client expectations.

Antony S. Rizi

Sales and Marketing Manager

Antony is an International Business Management graduate with Honours from Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, UK. He joined EnerZam in 2021 and currently oversees sales and marketing in both divisions – Engineering and Technology. His sales and account management experience spans a wide variety of industries, including tech, active skincare, pharmaceuticals, healthcare SaaS, and more. At EnerZam, Antony deals with clients from diverse sectors such as industrial, residential, hospitality, government entities, spas, commercial, and beyond.

With over 650 new clients and $8.5M USD generated annually in gross bookings at Uber Eats, Antony excels at forging strong relationships and enjoys networking across various industries and with individuals from different backgrounds. He also managed 8 major Canadian accounts at L’Oréal for one of the fastest-growing active skincare brands in the industry, CeraVe. Antony’s grit, professionalism, and passion make him an invaluable asset at EnerZam.

Julien Herve, Eng.

Regional Director - Engineering Dept

Julien is a distinguished member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) with a proven track record in energy efficiency and HVAC project management since 2013. As a key figure at EnerZam, Julien leverages his extensive experience in equipment design, energy savings calculations, and cost estimations to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

With a unique blend of European and Canadian expertise, Julien brings a global perspective to HVAC systems, allowing him to tackle even the most complex mandates with precision and innovation. Julien's portfolio includes numerous successful measurement and verification (M&V) projects and ESCO initiatives, particularly in the healthcare and education sectors. Additionally, he has cultivated specialized expertise in the spa and hospitality industry, further broadening EnerZam's service offerings.

Arnaud Jacob, Eng.

Team Lead - Energy Simulations

Arnaud Jacob is a seasoned energy management professional with over 10 years of experience in Montreal. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from ESME école d'ingénieurs généraliste in Paris and and a MSc in Civil Water Engineering from the University of Glasgow. In his previous role at Johnson Controls, Arnaud gained extensive knowledge of Measurement and Verification (M&V) methodologies through his work on performance monitoring missions for ESCO projects. He also contributed to the development of tools for energy-saving initiatives in both commercial and residential sectors.

Since joining EnerZam in 2017, Arnaud has honed his expertise in energy simulation, utilizing some of the most advanced modeling tools available. He is currently engaged in energy audit projects and standard compliance demonstrations for LEED certifications and grants. These projects require a thorough understanding of CWB and ASHRAE codes, which Arnaud has mastered. Arnaud's comprehensive skill set and dedication to excellence continues to drive innovation and deliver high-quality results for our clients.

Daniel Frankland

Team Lead - Software Engineering

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Montreal and a Master of Engineering Physics from École Polytechnique de Montréal. As a seasoned Full-Stack Developer, he has been an integral part of UCtriX since 2012. Daniel’s expertise extends across both front-end and back-end development, with a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Node.js. Daniel is also well-versed in back-end languages like Python and Java, and has experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. His familiarity with web servers like Apache and his knowledge of UI/UX design further enhance his capabilities.

Daniel's extensive skills and experience make him a vital senior member of the technology team, where he collaborates closely with development and delivery teams. He is dedicated to providing tailored solutions that address the specific needs of EnerZam’s clients, consistently demonstrating his commitment to excellence and innovation. His ability to work across the full stack, from designing client-side and server-side architecture to developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications, ensures that he delivers high-quality, scalable software solutions.

Hamza Rasaee

Director of Product Development

Hamza is currently advancing his academic journey by pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence. He holds a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University and brings over a decade of hands-on experience in electrical engineering and software/hardware development.

As a microcontroller specialist, Hamza has designed numerous integrated circuit boards (ICs) tailored for various industrial applications. His programming expertise spans multiple languages, including Java, C, C++, C#, and JavaScript. With a robust background in the automation industry, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence, Hamza is a seasoned professional, presently leading the Product Development team at EnerZam. His extensive knowledge and experience in programming and electrical engineering are invaluable assets to the company.
